Mini Decon Geocache

The original decon kit now has a smaller brother.

The original decon container known as a "Military Personal Decontamination Kit" has been replaced with the M291 and XM90 Kits which are not supplied in a plastic container. These decon kits have become increasingly harder and harder to find in military surplus stores.

We now have a more compact Mini Decon Geocache that is approximately 25% smaller in size than the original. This not only allows it to be hidden in smaller places, but also will be able to blend into its environment easier. These mini decons have been tested in an environmental chamber ranging from 110̊ F down to -10̊ F. The lid is made from a softer plastic allowing it to seal much better than even the original decon. This allows the mini decon to remain waterproof in even the wettest environments.

The metal clip on the back of the original decon has been replaced by a single 3/8” square loop on the back so you can attach your own securing method. The mini decons come already camouflaged in three different colors as well as solid black. Base plastic color is black with swirls of either mustard brown, steel wool or conifer green added throughout the container. This coloring is added into the plastic during the molding process so there is no need to worry about it peeling or cracking under intense UV exposure.

Each order will contain (1) mini decon in a random color.
